Brown bin should be collected in this situation as people has nothing to do other than gardening.

Do I need a separate bin colour (yellow) for clinical waste, and if so, how do I obtain one?

I quite like the app. It would be very handy if the app could tell you what you can place into the recycling bin.

I second your statement Julian Lovell. Great idea to have knowledge of all recycling options available on the app .

Excellent and very helpful app. I have had no issues to date

The app is fine however change of bin collections is becoming very frustrating as there is too much excess recycling and household waste which accumulates but there is no space in the bins! It is attracting more rats and other animals...and looks very messy! It needs to go back to the way it was.

The app is fine, although I agree with others that it would be better to list the bin types by date, rather than dates by bin type. Also, the app would be even better if it included the item types that can be put in each type of bin.

Just used app. Really like it!! Colour coordinated with dates of each bin days. User friendly and simple to interpret information

I never use to get the dates right for the green, brown and glass box.

How do you know when to put the glass bin out

what is to be done with glass at the moment? In the black box or in the green bin ?

Will the food waste bins be added to app schedule at some point, I know it goes out weekly but a reminder would be a good idea along with all other reminders

Will there be instructions on how to use the food waste bins?

New food waste bin is too small. I am not paying council tax so that my house could overflow with food waste.

I will continue to put food waste in the black bin bag.

This is wasting money and time.

How many litres are the 2 food waste bins, please, to help me buy liners for them

Can there be alerts if a bin will not be collected on the collection day itself as some of the bins are now collected on the next day after its due.

Is it possible for dates to be added automatically to calendars rather than click to add each set.

This new app is very helpful as to keeping our town clean not a day will be missed with the extra reminder of when to place the bins out. A big thank you to the team who made this app from Alan

Binmen are acting like bigbosses...theu did not collect my bin because i had put an empty cardboard box in it

Why not send the complete yearly collection schedule for all types of collection?

Very useful app, I use it often as otherwise I am always forgetting which colour bin is due and then need to phone the council.

It would be good to have all bin related options such as ordering new bins available in this one place. The option to add the calendar invites for longer than just 4-6 weeks would be helpful too.

The section of the app that allows you to report uncollected bins does not allow you to select 'glass box' as an option.

The app doesn't state when to put the garden waste out!

Also the household waste needs to be collected every week... forthnightly is too late especially with the warm weather. Bins start smelling and attracting unwanted visitors

It's great to have the dates in my calendar, but there are days when the scheduled collection does not happen until a day later. If the collection people know in advance then surely the app could give warning of this. It would save the bins being left out for two days and save me needlessly reporting an uncollected bin.

Why are gardening Broqn bins not on collection route, what am I supposed to do with a full bin?

My black bin dates do not show up for my address 😒 glitch in the app. So I must check my address against other addresses on my street.

App ok. I only miss ordering collection of bulky garbage. It's worth thinking about it. Thank you.

Great app - but now Luton BC have moved to a subscription-based Brown bin service, could you add a tick box option so that you can select it if you want to have the brown bin dates put into your diary. Thanks.

Yeah good app... Still a little confused as to when the glass bins are collected

Very useful app. Makes life easier.

One small thing - the calendar entries for the black bin (glass) and black bin (general) are quite similar and it would be better if they were differentiated with the suffices I have used.

Love the app, easy to check which bins each week. Where can I report a lost bin tho

I just see on my bin collection, i need to pay an extra 40 pounds to collect me garden waste, i think they jock with this ,i all ready pay 164

I'd recommend that you should be able to order extra recycling bags through the app.

Please can Luton a council update this App! The council has been steadily removing recycling points from residential areas- without reflecting the changes in the App. I live in the LU2 7LL area on Old Bedford Road opposite Popes Meadow. It has been very frustrating walking around trying to find bottles banks that no longer exist to deposit my bottles and I do not win a car.

NOTE: Popes Meadow, North Street Corner and Landsdowne Club recycling points no longer exist as the bins have been removed.

Thankfully after so many months of being blocked off, Sainsbury's Bury Park recycling point has finally reopened otherwise I don’t know what I would do. Update this App ASAP!

Very useful app. Great to have a reminder of which bins are to be collected.

Great App, I think the green recycle bin should be collected weekly as there is always so much packaging with everything that is bought. The brown garden waste bin should be weekly during spring & summer as a lot of waste comes out of a garden to keep it decent. As I stated though great App very helpful!!

I find this app very useful and easy to understand

The idea is great. I think you should add a button for reporting fly tipping with pictures. The data for my address is limited, it only gives info about the brown (garden waste) bin. I wanted to know the collection days for my black bin (general waste) and green bin (recycling).

I like the app for reminders but when the new dates are issued it would be better if the notifications were sent in day time hours not 1am

Recorded missed brown bins for both myself and my elderly neighbour via the bin app last Friday and still no collection. Oh and plus councils latest email states these collections have now been cancelled.

I have found this app very helpful i havent forgotten my bin or put the wrong one out since I started using it

My green bin has not been collected today, anyone know why?

Our normal collection day is Wednesday,but for the last 3 green bin collections,only the glass has been taken & bins not collected till Thursday!

I don't need the bin collection days to remain in my calendar after they have 'bin' and gone (ha ha). Could the app remove them a week or so after each collection?

I am happy that the App puts the collections into my Calendar on the correct days. However I don't want or need reminders, especially noisy ones, on either the day before or the actual day of the collections. There is a small amount of choice offered for reminders but not enough. If I turn off the reminder on the collection day, that collection day is moved to the previous day. At the moment I have to tediously visit every item and turn off its alert notification.
